Project Details
The platform combines destinations, photos, locations, age based activities, and practical tips, all ranked and reviewed by families who have already taken the trip and want to help others plan with confidence.
The goal of the platform is to create a trustworthy, community driven space where families can both share their journeys and plan future trips more easily.
“Sheryl created very good designs and was quick to turn around changes and offer suggestions. Professional and trustworthy; I would be happy to work with her again”

Things I Did
I focused on creating a clean and approachable interface that supports two main user flows
Families who want to explore trips and plan routes based on recommendations
Families who want to contribute content by sharing trips, tips, and experiences
Soft colors, clear typography, visual sections, and friendly illustrations were used to reduce friction and create a calm planning experience.
The layout was structured to guide users naturally through the content while keeping the experience intuitive and accessible.
Key UX Considerations
• Clear entry points for planning or sharing a trip
• Simple navigation and content grouping
• Visual emphasis on real family experiences
• Easy scanning of destinations, activities, and age relevant content
• Encouraging participation without pressure
Outcome
The final design transformed the platform into a more inviting and user friendly experience.
The website now feels clearer, warmer, and more intuitive, making it easier for families to plan trips and for contributors to share meaningful recommendations.
This redesign aligned the product’s visual language with its core values: trust, community, and shared family experiences.
